How much does each material absorb?

Absorption coefficients run from 0 to about 1, where 1 means all the energy hitting the material is absorbed. These are representative figures for the material types rather than measurements of the specific listings, and the shape of each row is the part that matters.

Read the 125 Hz column. Foam at 0.10 is barely distinguishable from the bare wall it is stuck to.
